Good Morning Long Lots

LLTV is Long Lots School's very own television station.
Each morning from 8:30-8:40 we broadcast a a news show to all the classrooms in school. Our crew is made up of 5th grade students. Students are trained to use broadcasting equipment such as a video mixer and soundboard, as well as to write the morning script and to direct the show. Every five weeks we train a new crew, allowing as many 5th grade students as possible to participate in this special school activity.

Students arrive in the studio directly from drop off or from their classroom if time permits. All students must be in the studio by 8:25 AM. The studio is located at the back of the library media center. Parents are invited to join us in the studio any morning to watch the live broadcast. To see the current crew schedule, click here.

During the tasting, students described each juice in Spanish and shared their opinions on the fruits' characteristics, including taste, texture, and color.
