Kindergarten Registration

How to Register for Kindergarten for the Current 2025-2026 School Year

Prior to registering your child(ren), please check our School Locator for the school in your home district. Then fill out form below.

 

When and How to Register for Kindergarten 2026-2027

If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2026, we encourage you to register them as soon as possible. Early registration helps us plan ahead and ensures a smooth start to your child's educational journey.

Prior to registering your child(ren), please check our School Locator for the school in your home district. Then fill out form below.

You may save your information and return to the form if needed.

Once the form has been submitted online, you will receive an email confirmation and a request to provide copies of all required residency documentation and updated CT health forms (see below) to the school that serves your address.

Your child's registration will not be finalized until all of the documents and forms are received.

What documents will I need to provide to register my child?

 

When will the Informational meeting and Student Orientation processes begin?

On Friday, March 6, a Kindergarten Informational meeting will be held for parents who have completed the registration process.

Kindergarten Orientation will be held in May and details will be forthcoming.

 

Will my child be able to visit his/her school?

Children will have the chance to visit their school in May, during Kindergarten Orientation, and prior to the start of school in August.

Fifth-grade students at LLS proudly continued the tradition of helping to stock the pantry at Operation Hope in Fairfield. Each year, fifth graders celebrate the start of Super Bowl weekend with a special potluck lunch shared with their families. As part of the celebration, students donate canned goods and “vote” to predict the winner of the Super Bowl, turning school spirit into meaningful community service.

Fifth-grade students at LLS recently learned about fruits from Colombia. As part of the unit, they participated in a juice tasting featuring fruits that are an important part of the country’s cultural heritage: guanábana (soursop), maracuyá (passion fruit), and guayaba (guava). During the tasting, students described each juice in Spanish and shared their opinions on the fruits' characteristics, including taste, texture, and color.
