Fifth-grade students at Long Lots recently learned about fruits from Colombia. As part of the unit, they participated in a juice tasting featuring fruits that are an important part of the country’s cultural heritage: guanábana (soursop), maracuyá (passion fruit), and guayaba (guava). During the tasting, students described each juice in Spanish and shared their opinions on the fruits' characteristics, including taste, texture, and color.
